A possible trajectory for a story?

 Recently, I have been thinking a lot about the media we consume and the process in which it is made. The powerful, almost seraphic beings at the top of the food chain who micromanage every single thing and the dregs at the bottom, naive and young waiting for their first job. What I find interesting about this societal phenomenon is the abuse of this power and how it is even possible. The exposé of Harvey Weinstein in Hollywood might instantly come to mind for this but I wish to focus on the exploitation of singers in the music industry and how this phenomenon inspires me. I am also going to talk about media that I enjoy inspired by this circumstance. A while ago, I was automatically recommended a video from disgraced X Factor auditionee Zoe Alexander on Youtube. Who Am I? Overture of a Blog

 My name is Fionn Baker. I am a minuscule insignificance in this massive universe that we all reside in. In other words I am a writer.  Inspiration comes from a variety of sources for me. This can be film, music, screenplays, real life experiences, literature and comedy. I would say that the lives and relationships of people around me are my biggest influence but I also really enjoy the writing in Curb Your Enthusiasm, the films Heathers, Moulin Rouge and Edward Scissorhands, The Handmaid's Tale and Roald Dahl's childrens novels. I am drawn easily to quirky characters and situations in stories because I relate to and enjoy viewing the world through that eccentric, outside of the box lens. My main interest is in screenwriting because I adore the more human element film has as a medium compared to literature. Whenever I write I always imagine the lives of real people and true raw emotion, no matter how fantastical or wonderfully weird the story is. I hope over the coming months,...
