The Structure

The next batch of content for my booklet includes the structure of the show and its episodes. The show will be tailored when writing for an hour timeslot, a.k.a. 3 acts.

Each of the planned 6 episodes has a stand-alone theme and a goal that is reached by the end but also progresses the longer form story-arc of the season.

The longer format of the episodes make it easier to explore and develop the continuous struggles of the characters and their conflicts while also having a lighter B plot to contrast with the main storyline.

As an ensemble piece, the show has many contrasting personalities and appearances, some drift in and out of focus throughout the episodes but generally the plot is about the relationships between Grainne, Oscar and their underdog club.

"Neuro-adversity" tonally is a black comedy-drama and balances serious commentary with humour but leans more towards the humorous side.
